A group of Grade 7 Howick Preparatory pupils accompanied by teacher Mrs Val Ellens and principal Mr Grant Maartens recently returned from a week long educational trip of the Cape. While down in the Cape they were involved in a Cheetah outreach programme in Somerset West, visited Groot Constantia, had a tour of Simonstown, went up Table Mountain, visited the V&A Waterfront, went whale watching on a boat in Table Bay and took a trip across to Robben Island where they were given a full tour of not only Robben Island but also the prison which housed Nelson Mandela and many other political prisoners.
The attached photograph was taken on Robben Island of a group of Howick Preparatory pupils.
