There have been so many things going on at the club that it’s difficult to know where to start…
The 24th of September brought about our Annual Warwick Wealth sponsored day which saw quite full greens on a beautiful spring day. The afternoon was enjoyed by all, and congratulations go to Bruce Tucker who won, as well as Calvin Anderson & Darlene Ferreira who came second and third respectively (Middle photo).
Our monthly JLS Drawn 2-4-2 competition was held on the 27th September, where Derrick Balfour and Bruce Tucker won the day (Picture here top).
The 30th of September saw us play our first SG Knott Construction sponsored 2 bowl trips competition. This will now be a monthly competition played on the last Friday of every month. A lot of fun and laughter could be heard coming from the greens The winners this month were Mike Hill, Rowena Muir & Ann Monarch (Bottom photo). Thank you to Shayne Knott of SG Knott Construction for a fantastic day!
On Saturday, the 1st of October our men’s league team played against Maritzburg Bowling Club; one team won their game and one team lost, earning us with three and a half points over all for the day. Well done to all the men who played!
