The Jackal pups have been developing well and have progressed to drinking milk from a bowl. They have also been introduced to meat and have become quite adventurous with lessened dependency on their den. This is the sign for us that they are ready to begin exploring an outdoor enclosure.
The Jackal pups have gained much confidence since their admission and are excitedly leaving their den to explore their simulated environment in the clinic as pictured here top.
Pictured below, when we decided it was time to introduce the Jackal pups to the outside world. They began exploring their new environment although cautiously.
