Samuel and Joshua Harris played for the South African U20 Open team in the World Junior Ultimate Frisbee Championships in Spain during the school holiday. Samuel was selected as a co-captain of the team.
In very hot conditions of over 40°C, the team came back from losing the first 5 games to win 3 in a row and narrowly lose to The Netherlands 13-12 in their final game.
They won the Gold Spirit Award, which is an incredible honour of sportsmanship. This is awarded on the basis of scores from each team who played against them and measures attitude, fairness and communication.
